Calling all chili lovers! Louisville’s Great Chili Cook Off is a Louisville fall staple held on the second Sunday of October, which is on Sunday, October 10th this year. The best of the best chef’s, both professional and hobbyists, compete to prove they make the greatest chili in Louisville.

The Harvest Homecoming Festival is one of the biggest events in Southern Indiana in the fall. From October 7th-10th, there are an array of events for you to spend with your friends and family. There are car shows, booths, festival nights, and so much more.

Jack O'Lantern Spectacular is held in Iroquois Park with over 5,000 pumpkins created by local makers illuminated at night along a walking path. This is one of the most unique and beautiful fall events you can experience.

Halloween on Hillcrest is one of those “if you know, you know” kind of situations. For the entire month of October, residents on Hillcrest Avenue decorate their houses in top tier Halloween decorations. This leads up to an ultimate trick or treat event on Halloween night. No matter young or old, this is something you just can’t miss.
